Hazardous Material Remediation Project Completed at Glendale TAFE

BWJ Construction & Maintenance completed an important hazardous material remediation project for Glendale TAFE earlier this year in January. This marked another successful project completed for TAFE NSW.

The remediation of lead dust in the ceiling space of three classrooms and one preparation space was necessary to enable a future mechanical project to take place in Block G.

Working together with Monteath & Powys Pty Ltd the team completed the project during the summer break to ensure classes could start back as planned. The project included isolating and disconnecting existing services in the ceiling to replace the ceiling tiles and remediate the ceiling cavity.
